Backup Tech, the UK’s leading technical entertainment charity, is excited to announce its participation as the official charity partner at the upcoming 2025 Event Production Show (EPS), taking place at ExCeL London on February 26-27. This marks the charity’s debut at the prestigious event, where it will offer vital support and share valuable industry insights. As the longest-running event dedicated to professionals in live events, EPS brings together an array of content and exhibitors focused on the future of the event production industry. This year’s show will tackle key challenges such as sustainability, crowd safety, diversity, technology, and more, ensuring that all event organisers — from music festivals to corporate experiences — can meet the highest standards in their field.

Backup’s presence at EPS underscores its mission to provide financial and wellbeing support to technical professionals across the entertainment industry. The charity, which has been a lifeline to countless industry members, will be located at Stand ESP11, where it invites attendees to learn more about its initiatives, resources, and the support available to those working behind the scenes of live events.

Backup will also be hosting a dedicated session at the show’s Knowledge Hub on Thursday, February 27, from 11:15am to 12:00pm. During this session, members of the Backup team will discuss the charity’s mission, the range of support it offers, how industry professionals can access help, and other essential resources available to technical staff.

The 2025 EPS is set to be a must-attend event for professionals in the live event industry, providing two days of networking, education, and business opportunities designed to elevate the future of event production.
